WINDSPIRE® WIND TURBINE INSTALLED FOR ABC’S ‘EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION’
Manistee, Michigan – On April 20th, 2009, the Windspire® was unveiled to Michigan Governor Granholm and some 500 residents and visitors at an event celebrating the first day of manufacturing of the Windspire in Manistee, Michigan.
On Sunday, May 17th, at 7:00 p.m. EDT, the Windspire will be unveiled to the rest of the world in its network television debut on ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home-Edition.”
The Windspire is an appliance that converts the power of wind into electricity for residences, businesses and governments. ABC chose the Windspire as their green technology because of its unique technology and consumer appeal. The Windspire’s small stature, sleek design, quiet operation, and affordability make it ideal for residential use. Mariah Power, of Reno, Nevada, donated the Windspire to the McFarland Family and partnered with Windspire dealers Blue Sun Renewable Energy and Northwest Geothermal to install the Windspire at the new home.
Mark your calendar and tune in to witness the Windspire, now locally produced at MasTech Manufacturing, be installed on the season finale of ABC’s award winning show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” this Sunday, May 17th, at 7:00 p.m.
